Before a testing day
The participant purchases the required saliva or nail testing kits online and has them delivered in advance. Kits should be stored according to the provided instructions and kept accessible so an assigned test can be completed within the same-day window.
Participants should know how notifications arrive, how quickly they must respond, which collection process to follow, and where the completed package must be dropped off.
The five testing-day steps
- Receive and acknowledge the text notification
On a selected day, the participant receives a text message and acknowledges the testing requirement.
- Identify the assigned specimen
The notification or established plan indicates whether the participant is completing a saliva or nail test.
- Complete video-verified collection by day’s end
The participant follows the assigned collection instructions within the required same-day testing window and completes the video-verification process.
- Seal the completed test
The specimen is secured as instructed and placed in the provided prepaid shipping envelope.
- Drop the package at an authorized FedEx location
The sealed package is delivered for shipment and laboratory processing.
How to stay prepared
- Keep the correct number and type of kits available at home.
- Make sure Continuum has the participant’s current mobile number.
- Review the video-verification and collection instructions before the first selection.
- Know the location and hours of a convenient authorized FedEx drop-off point.
- Plan for work shifts, call schedules, travel, and other obligations that could affect same-day completion.
What to do if a problem occurs
If a kit is damaged, unavailable, or cannot be completed as instructed, the participant should contact Continuum promptly rather than waiting until the end of the testing window. Early communication allows the situation to be documented and the appropriate next step to be explained.
Participants should not use the general website contact form to send diagnoses, laboratory results, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive medical information.
Why at-home testing matters
Traditional collection arrangements can require travel, appointment coordination, or time away from clinical and family responsibilities.
